Sister Sabrina Trimble in Canada: Week Full Of Emotions!! September 5, 2016

This past week has been full of all sorts of different emotions. My Mission President, President Miles, called me last Monday night and told me that I was getting transferred and that I would be going to Sparwood, British Colombia to finish training a new Sister, Sister Patton, for my last transfer. Needless to say a few tears were shed that I would be leaving Taber and so many people that I had grown to love so much. Although the goodbyes were hard I have already begun to fall in love with the people here in Sparwood.

This past Thursday I had an opportunity to meet Ron. He has been taking the missionary lessons for a few years now. The first lesson that I was here for he also had his baptismal interview!! This past Saturday Ron got baptized and even though I only got to teach one lesson to Ron and missionaries have been teaching him for years!! The Spirit taught me a valuable lesson once again... Heavenly Father in mindful of all of His children. He knows and loves each one of us personally and is mindful of what our needs are. The Lords timing is key in our lives. Ron wasn't ready the past few years to be baptized. But because of the love from so many members in the Sparwood ward and the past missionaries little by little Ron was prepared to enter the waters of baptism. The Spirit was so strong during the service and I am so grateful that I had an opportunity to be a part of that special day with Ron. Although the cherry on top was that I gained another witness of the love that God has for each of His beloved children. I know that Heavenly Fathers timing is so important in each of our lives. And because of the Spirit we can each feel the love that Heavenly Father has for us. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is changing my life each and every day. I am so grateful for our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ.
