Hey everyone!
I hope that life is treating everyone great! So the story I want to share this week is when my companion and me met with a man that was showing a lot of interest in the church. He had a lot of questions though and wanted us to answer all of them with the Bible so we brought a member with us that is extremely familiar with the bible so he could help us make sure we were answering this mans questions to the fullest! (: We ended up talking to him about the gospel for 3 hours on Saturday! It was amazing the spirit was so strong in the room! So come Sunday morning he texted my companion and I and said some really not nice stuff (to say the least)... he had made a totally 360 degree turn around and no longer had any interest in the church or anything that we had to say. The only reason that I waned to share that story with everyone this week is because from it I learned that it doesn't matter what anyone says about the Gospel of Jesus Christ that can shake my faith. Because the Savior has helped me so much through my life I know that this gospel is true! Even though it made me sad, we just sent a text back that said "Well we are grateful for the opportunity we had to meet you and your sweet family and we respect your beliefs and wish you the best of luck in life." I hope that that text will show him that we not only BELIEVE in the Gospel of Jesus Christ but we LIVE it to the best of our ability! This experience really helped me realize how important it is for each and every one of us to truly be converted to the Savior!
