Hey Everyone! June 29, 2015

Hey everyone! I hope that you guys are all having a great week! I love you all so much! So this week I have really learned how such simple things can make somebodies day! But it's just like the scriptures say... "by small and simple things, shall great things come to pass." The small things really do count! Even though they may not always be noticed by those around us, what really matters is that the Lord notices them and that He knows the intents of our hearts! (: So I just wanted to thank everyone for all the small and simple things they have done for me throughout the years! Everyone's simple acts of kindness have really helped me! So thank you guys for just being you! And for doing the simple things for those around you! I know that it really does make a difference and the Lord is so proud of us when we are more focused on those around us and try to look outward instead of inward! Keep it up because you all are so amazing and are touching peoples lives around you! (: I love you all so much I hope you have a great week! (:

I Love My Mission June 22, 2015

So this week has been great!!! Oh boy I am just loving my mission! So we picked up a new investigator and his name is Neal! He is from FIGI !! I mean is that not cool or what! He actually met an old member in one of our wards 3 years ago!! And out of the blue he was really starting to struggle again so he seeked him out for advice and mentoring! So the member who's name is Phil got a hold of us and we have started teaching him! He is so awesome! He said to us during our last lesson that he just wants to do what the Lord wants and asked for us to pray for him to get an answer if all of this is true! (Like he needed to ask we have been praying our little hearts out over him!!) And Drum roll please ...... he even said the closing prayer in our second lesson!!! I am just so excited for Neal! I will keep you up to date!! But please remember to keep him in your prayers! (: 

Also this week is transfers... and Sister Wagner is getting transferred somewhere else in Calgary! So that means that this Thursday I will meet my new companion!! Crazy stuff right? (: Anyways that is about all that is new from this week!

Just Another Day In Canada June 9, 2015

Hey Everyone!

I hope that everyone is having a great start to their summer! This week has been great! It is so crazy hot in Canada! But I'm not complaining! It feels so good! So the story that I wanted to share with you guys this week happened just the other day. So Sister Wagner and I have been trying to work really hard but we just haven't gotten a lot of investigators to teach yet. And I was starting to get a little discouraged... but during my personal study this week I read a scripture Alma 26:27 and it says: "Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst  thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success." When I read that it hit me like a ton of bricks! The Lord had answered my prayers and He was telling me to keep working hard and to be patient! This scripture just brought me so much peace! And the other neat part is that later that day we got a referral for a new investigator!!! Oh it was just another Tender Mercy from the Lord showing how much He really does care about the small things in all of our lives! I am so grateful for the Lord and the peace and joy the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings! I know that Heavenly Father cares about all the little things in our lives and that He is always willing to help us! We just need to ask! (: I just want to thank all of you again for everything that you have done for me to help me get here! I love you all! I hope you have a great week! (:
