Mothers Day May 11, 2015

Hey Everyone!

I hope that everyone was able to have an amazing Mothers Day! (: And to all those Missionary Mom's and Dad's I hope you had a blast being able to Skype your missionaries! So this week I wanted to say thanks to everyone! You have all helped me so much and I appreciate each and everyone of you! 

This week I have defiantly grown to understand why I am here in Canada! So before most of us missionaries leave on our missions everyone says that there is a reason that we are called to the area that we are called to... normally they say it is because there is one person out there that only we can help! I can testify that is a true statement! While I have been serving here and falling in love with the people of Calgary I realized that one person is ME! I know that sounds crazy! But I have realized that this mission is Changing MY life! I'm not only here to change others lives, I am also here because they are all changing MINE! Just like a great Prophet has said " When you are looking for yourself you lose yourself, but when you lose yourself in service you find yourself." This is so true for each and everyone of us! When we all stop looking inward and begin to focus outward on those that are around us our lives will be changed for the better! Because we will be just a little bit closer to Becoming like our Savior, Jesus Christ! (:  

I just want to thank you all again for helping me get to this point in my life! You are all truly amazing and I know that as each of us continues to try and serve those around us we will all be filled with the true JOY that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings! I love you all and I hope that you have a great week! (:
